Adore Him: He Is Here

The documentary "Adore Him: He Is Here" will have a limited theatrical run from Oct. 4 to Oct. 8. Written and directed by Donald J. Johnson, the 90-minute film explores the scriptural foundations of the real presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through dramatizations of Old and New Testament events.

The film features interviews with Archbishop Paul S. Coakley of Oklahoma City and Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles, who discuss the pastoral benefits of spending time with Jesus, specifically through a daily Holy Hour. Participants in the film suggest that praying before the tabernacle or monstrance offers a refuge from a fast-paced world.

The documentary examines the impact of Eucharistic exposition in various locations, including Chicago, New York City, and Vienna, Austria. It also explores why young people are drawn to Eucharistic adoration and includes archival footage of St. Teresa of Kolkata.
