The Reception House has welcomed five families who lost their homes during a storm on August 28.

The Diocese of Cremona reported that 14 families in the municipality of Cremona were evacuated from their homes for safety reasons following the storm and tornado. While authorities worked to secure buildings to prevent further public danger, the diocese prioritized assisting those without housing. These five families moved to the Reception House after an initial period of temporary shelter.
