The European Union announced 3.3 billion euros in new funding for Ukraine to purchase drones and missiles.

While the EU released these funds, officials have not reached an agreement on renewing sanctions against Moscow. In related military developments, Russia claims to have captured two centers in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, Poland is increasing surveillance of its airspace as diplomatic tensions rise between Moscow and the United Kingdom.

A United Nations report also documented more than 1,000 instances of sexual violence linked to the conflict.
