Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia to celebrate Transito of San Francesco

The Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia will hold celebrations for the transit of St. Francis at the Convent of the Most Holy Annunciation in Amelia.

A prayer vigil is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 21:00, followed by Mass on Sunday at 18:00. The convent features an image by Domenico Bruschi, the same painter who frescoed the Chapel of the Transit of St. Francis at the Porziuncola in Assisi.
