Angra: Igreja Católica quer reforçar respostas de acolhimento aos migrantes na ilha do Pico

The Diocese of Angra is working to improve how it welcomes and integrates migrants on Pico Island.

The Ouvidoria do Pico and the Serviço Diocesano da Mobilidade Humana held a meeting at the Church of Santa Maria Madalena in Angra do Heroísmo on September 17, 2026. The gathering brought together 45 people to discuss the reality of the migrant population and how to strengthen reception and integration responses.
