Aparecida shrine celebrates Rupnik-designed western facade

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida in São Paulo, Brazil, celebrated the completion of its new western facade designed by Father Marko Rupnik.

The new installations at the shrine come as the artist faces decades of allegations involving sexual, spiritual, and psychological abuse. While the shrine in Brazil has completed these works, the Lourdes shrine in France is currently moving to cover mosaics created by Rupnik.
