The Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum offers an annual diploma in spiritual theology designed as a fourth year of theology. Father José Fernández San Román, L.C., dean of the faculty of theology, said the program is for students who have completed the Baccalaureato in Theology and want to complete their theological studies with a spiritual-pastoral focus.

The diploma is intended for priests, religious, seminarians, consecrated persons, and laypeople involved in evangelization. Father Fernández San Román stated the program offers training that combines study, prayer, discernment, and personal growth to help people read their experience in the light of faith.
