Bishop Simone to preside funeral Mass for Ottavia Margotta

Bishop Simone will preside over the funeral Mass for Ottavia Margotta at 15.30 on Saturday, October 10, at the Cathedral.

The Diocese of Livorno noted that Margotta was recognized for her service to the Church. After retiring, she served as the director of the diocesan pilgrimage office and worked in the secretariat of the diocesan council for lay associations. She also led the diocesan and regional Rete mondiale di preghiera del Papa, introducing the organization to many parishes throughout the diocese.
