Ara: L-ewwel ċentru ta’ Servizz.gov f’Għawdex

The Servizz.gov Agency opened a new regional office in Gozo to provide residents with access to various government services in one location. Located in Pjazza San Franġisk, Rabat, the center was inaugurated by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and Public Service Head Tony Sultana, who were accompanied by Agency Massimo Vella.

The center assists people with applications for social benefits, educational services, tax forms, identity card collection, and business aid schemes. Tony Sultana noted that while only 14% of people currently prefer visiting these centers, the government intends to maintain a social presence in towns and villages.

In 2025, Servizz.gov received 2.5 million requests for information or assistance. These included 1.22 million calls to the 153 Freephone, 350,000 center visits, 80,000 cases handled by a chatbot, 131,000 emails, and 737,000 interactions via the Servizz.gov.mt website.
