Clare Agius obtained her pilot's license at age 30 after years of pursuing the goal. The actress and presenter shared her journey during an interview on the RTK103 program L-Intervista.

Agius noted that her interest in aviation began in childhood because her father worked as an engine fitter in the Air Force and later for a company in Malta. Although she focused on mathematics and physics in school to prepare for flight training, she initially pursued a career in theater and television through MTADA.
