Arcbishop Lauro Tisi attends meeting of public administrators

Archbishop Lauro Tisi joined mayors and local council members in Montagnaga for a meeting focused on the ethical responsibilities of public service. The gathering brought together administrators from various municipalities and valley communities to engage in spiritual reflection and dialogue.

The meeting was organized by Alessandro Santuari, the mayor of Baselga di Pinè, and Francesco Fantini, the mayor of Bedollo. These leaders established the group following a jubilee for public administrators held last year, intending to create regular opportunities for reflection.

During the event, Archbishop Tisi noted that the initiative was significant because it began spontaneously among the administrators themselves rather than being directed by the diocese. He observed that the meeting occurred during a historical period where many principles intended to guide political engagement appear to be failing. Rocco D’Ambrosio, a professor of political ethics at the Pontifical Gregorian University, also spoke to the group regarding ethical approaches to political service.
