Arcebispo de Aparecida diz que é inadmissível qualquer teatro eleitoral com Nossa Senhora

The Archbishop of Aparecida, Bishop Mário Antônio da Silva, stated that using the image of Our Lady of Aparecida or the devotion to her for electoral purposes is inadmissible.

Bishop da Silva made these remarks during a Mass celebrated on September 30 at the National Sanctuary of Aparecida. He described such political use as electoral theater involving the deep devotion held for the mother of the Church.
