Archbishop Gallagher speaks at Assisi

Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher spoke at an annual seminar in Assisi on September 7 to discuss the role of diplomacy in reconciliation. The event marked the centenary of the first official meeting between the Holy See and Italy.

The seminar, titled "Saint Francis and the Ways of Reconciliation," was organized for theology professors and pastoral assistants from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. This year's program honors the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis.
