Archdiocese of Alba Iulia hosts 120 youth at Egyházmegyei Ifjúsági Találkozó

The Archdiocese of Alba Iulia hosted 120 young people from various parishes for the Diocesan Youth Meeting in Szatmárnémeti on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Participants gathered to pray, celebrate, and build new relationships under the theme "Veled vagyok!".

Bishop Jenő Schönberger celebrated the central Mass at the cathedral. During the homily, István Németh encouraged the youth to listen to God's word and allow it to shape their lives through silence and attention. Németh also gave a presentation that included a discussion on the potential uses and limitations of artificial intelligence.

The choir from the János Hám Teológiai Líceum, led by music teacher Éva Hadházi, provided the music for the event.
