Archdiocese of Huè holds Mid-Autumn Festival Mass for children

The Quy Lai Parish community in the Archdiocese of Huê held a Mass to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival for local children. Parish priest Gioan Baotixita Pham Xu presided over the liturgy, which was co-celebrated by parochial vicar Matthieu Tran Bao Minh.

During the Mass, the community prayed for the children and for relatives and benefactors who support them. Parochial vicar Matthieu spoke to the children through a series of questions to help them reflect on the meaning of the festival. He encouraged the children to be good students and children in their families and schools while maintaining their faith and love for God.

After the Mass, children gathered in the church courtyard for a festival program featuring lion dances, drums, and gifts.
