Archdiocese of Lima hosts Enciende el Amor 2026

The Archdiocese of Lima held the fourteenth edition of Enciende el Amor at the Concha Acústica del Campo de Marte in Jesús María. Organized by the Commission of Family and Life of the Archdiocese of Lima and the Red de Comunidades Matrimoniales del Perú, the gathering provided a day of formation, reflection, prayer, and celebration for married couples, engaged couples, and cohabiting partners.

Auxiliary Bishop Guillermo Elías Millares, an advisor to the Commission of Family and Life, exhorted participants to recognize that love finds its foundation in God and to cultivate the unity of the Trinity within their homes. The program featured speakers including Father Angelo Costa, OFM Cap., Father Ángel Espinosa de los Monteros, psychologist Lupita Venegas, and Inés and Pepe Enciso. The event encouraged couples to view their relationships through a realistic lens, focusing on how love matures by facing difficulties and recognizing personal limitations.
