Arcivescovo di Udine to nominate Claudio Dagli Orti as new parish administrator of Prepotto

The Archbishop of Udine will appoint Capuchin friar Claudio Dagli Orti as the new parish administrator for Prepotto. This decision follows an agreement with the superiors of the Santa Croce province of the Capuchin order. The Prepotto parish includes the villages of Oborza, Ciubiz, Cialla, Fragielis, Craoretto, Cladrecis, Chiazzacco, Centa, Albana, Codromaz, and Prepotischis.

Father Dagli Orti is a member of the Capuchin community in Castelmonte. He was ordained a priest in 1991 and previously served as a vicar in Chioggia and a hospital chaplain in Mirano. After spending five years on a mission in Angola starting in 1996, he served in various Capuchin infirmaries in Basano del Grappa, Conegliano, and Rovereto. Most recently, he served as the superior of the Capuchin community in Conegliano until moving to Castelmonte in September 2026.
