Arcivescovo of Milano attends event honoring San Francesco

The Archbishop of Milan participated in a day of events at the Biblioteca degli Alberi in Portanuova to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi. The program, titled BAM Autumn, featured a contemporary retelling of the Franciscan message through various cultural moments.

The afternoon activities culminated in a performance called Il Cantico per le città in the Meli area. Directed by Andrea Chiodi, the event opened with remarks from the Archbishop, who encouraged people to listen to the words of Saint Francis to choose good over evil.
