Arquidiocese de Curitiba participates in meeting on parish security at Palácio Iguaçu

Representatives from the Archdiocese of Curitiba met with public security authorities at Palácio Iguaçu on Tuesday, September 29, to discuss protection measures for parishes and other religious spaces. The meeting aimed to align strategies between faith communities and security agencies to protect both religious buildings and the people attending activities there.

Marcos Antonio Tordoro, head of the Casa Militar, João Roberto Galeto Alves, commander of the 1º CRPM, and Eliseu Rocha, a representative of the State Government, attended the meeting.

Representing the Archdiocese of Curitiba were Renato Vieira of the Paróquia Cristo Rei, Eder Szpak of the Santuário Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima, and Adriano Toillier of the Paróquia São Cristóvão. Lucas Matias also attended as a representative of the Conselho Nacional do Laicato do Brasil.
