Arquidiócesis de La Paz convoca a la XXI Jornadas Filosóficas Teológicas sobre inteligencia articifial, ética y humanismo cristiano

The Archdiocese of La Paz will host the XXI Theological-Philosophical Conference from September 21 to 23, 2026. Organized by the Instituto de Estudios Teológicos del Seminario San Jerónimo, the event focuses on the theme “Magnifica Humanitas: para la vida y misión de la Iglesia.” The sessions will take place at the institute located on Av. Armentia N° 511 starting at 08:30 a.m. each day.

The conference provides a space for academic and pastoral reflection on challenges including artificial intelligence, robotics, value formation, art, and the role of Catholic education. On Monday, Dr. Francesco Zarati will discuss the protection of the human person in the time of artificial intelligence. On Tuesday, Ing. Gabriel Rojas will speak on artificial intelligence, robotics, and mechatronics. Theater artist David Mondaca will then present on art as an expression of a new Christian Humanism. The program concludes Wednesday with a debate forum titled “Magnífica Humanitas una lectura a 3 dimensiones” featuring Lic. Fernando Tarifa.
