Assemblea diocesana di Gubbio, riparte il cammino della Chiesa eugubina

The Diocese of Gubbio will hold its diocesan assembly on Friday, September 18, at the Madonna del Ponte parish to begin the new pastoral year. Bishop Luciano Paolucci Bedini will lead the event, which begins with prayer at 18:00 followed by synodal group discussions at 18:30.

The assembly follows the theme "Radicati e fondati in Cristo" and continues the synodal path of churches in Italy. Bishop Paolucci Bedini stated in the September diocesan newsletter that the end of summer marks a return to the ordinary life of families and the ecclesial community through prayer, liturgy, the divine word, and charity. He noted that the community must walk together with others to respond to God's will.

The diocesan celebrations continue on Sunday, September 20, with a Feast of the Diocese held at the Cathedral. This celebration also marks the 60 years of priesthood of Bishop Emeritus Mario Ceccobelli.
