Assemblea pastorale diocesana, la Chiesa eugubina riparte da fede, comunità e corresponsabilità

The Diocese of Gubbio opened its new pastoral year with a diocesan assembly on Friday, September 18, at the Madonna del Ponte parish. Bishop Luciano Paolucci Bedini opened the meeting by calling for the Church to move from reflection and discernment toward practical action.

The assembly follows the four-year Cammino sinodale and uses the orientation document Radicati e costruiti in Cristo. This document identifies four areas for continued discernment: transmitting faith, community life, the co-responsibility of the baptized, and structures that serve the mission. Bishop Paolucci Bedini stated that the community needs to meet, recognize one another, build fraternity, and pray together.

The diocese will celebrate its Feast Day on Sunday, September 20, at the Cathedral with Bishop Emeritus Mario Ceccobelli.
