At annual gathering, Knights recognize Bishop and his priests for their ministry

The Knights of Columbus presented a check to Bishop David M. O'Connell for the Holy Innocents Society during the annual Trenton Federation Pride in Our Priests dinner on Sept. 29. This society helps parishes provide religious education to people with developmental disabilities.

The dinner took place at South Gate Manor in Freehold and brought together Bishop O'Connell, hundreds of clergy, religious members, and guests from across the diocese and the state. The gathering allowed priests and Knights to recognize the contributions each group makes to the Church and its people.
