Aveiro: Bispo destaca que «consolidar comunidades pastorais» é a «meta ousada, mas clara» do novo ano pastoral

Bishop António Moiteiro Aveiro aims to create and implement pastoral communities across the Diocese of Aveiro during the 2026-2027 pastoral year. In a letter for the new year, the bishop described the goal of building missionary and synodal communities as bold but clear. He stated that every baptized person should participate in evangelization, communion, and service.

This year is the final year of a triennium that began in 2024. The diocese has identified four areas for the 2026-2027 year: the creation of pastoral communities, synodality, lay ministries, and formation.
