Holy See Press Office to hold press conference on Amoris Laetitia Encounter

The Holy See Press Office will hold a press conference today, October 9, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the recent Vatican encounter held from October 7 to 14. The meeting marks the tenth anniversary of the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia.

The session, held at the Holy See Press Office on Via della Conciliazione, 54, will feature several speakers. Father Giacomo Costa, a consultant for the General Secretariat of the Synod, will discuss the methodology used during the encounter. Other participants include Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac Sedrak, Cardinal Filipe Neri António Sebastião Ferrão Rosário, Bishop Timothy John Costelloe, Véronique Martin Lonchamp, Professor María Marcela Mazzini, and Charmaine Bernadette and Eren Lyle Villegas.
