Awesome Mothers Association celebrates 20 years

Thirty-one members of the Awesome Mothers Association gathered in Toongabbie in September to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sydney-wide prayer and support group. The group has included about 100 women over the years.

Founding member Rosie Gordon established the group at St Dominic’s parish in Flemington to create a Catholic version of existing mothers' groups. The association holds regular gatherings in members' homes to ensure mothers and children feel welcome. Members maintain contact through email.
