Lajos Kondé, a pastoral deacon and hospital chaplain, celebrated a Mass at the Szeged Cathedral on September 14 for new volunteer hospital visitors. The service was held for the Szent Dömötör Kórházlelkészi Szolgálat.

Civil staff offered prayers of thanks for the volunteers and asked for God's presence to be felt through their silence, encouraging words, and smiles. The prayers also requested perseverance and commitment for the volunteers, as well as healing for the patients. The volunteers recited the Szent Dömötör prayer and took their vows. They received business cards to wear while serving on hospital and clinical wards.
