Pope presides over celebration of World Day of Creation

Pope Francis presided over a celebration for the World Day of Creation at the Giardino della Madonnina del Borgo Laudato si’. The event included 270 participants, including gardeners and masons who have worked for the pontifical villas for decades. These workers stated that caring for nature is a daily responsibility for them.

The cardinal director general of the Centro di Alta Formazione Laudato si’ noted that the climate crisis has progressed. He suggested that people recognize mistakes to help mitigate damage. The cardinal also spoke about using artificial intelligence for God's project, warning that the fire intended to illuminate and warm the world is now capable of destroying it.
