Bergamo, sabato 26 settembre: conferenza «Il beato Carlo d’Asburgo, imperatore dei principi non negoziabili»

The Comitato Summorum Pontificum of Bergamo will host a conference titled "The Blessed Charles of Austria, Emperor of Non-negotiable Principles" on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The event marks the 110th anniversary of the coronation of the blessed Charles of Austria.

The conference will take place at the Auditorium della Malpensata in Bergamo. Organizers include the Cajetanus Foundation and the Circolo del Regno Lombardo Veneto.

Lorenzo Vitali, president of the Comitato Summorum Pontificum of Bergamo, will introduce the program. Speakers include Mauro Faverzani, the person responsible for Italy for the Association for the Beatification of Zita, discussing Charles and Zita. Roberto Coaloa, a professor of history at the Université Paris IV – Sorbonne, will speak on the coronation in Budapest and the search for peace. Diego Zoia, president of the Cajetanus Foundation and the Circolo del Regno Lombardo Veneto, will discuss Charles I of Austria and the tradition for the return of a Christian Europe.
