Daniela di Sarra publishes article on Bernini's allegory

Daniela di Sarra has published an article proposing a new reading of the allegory sculpted by Bernini for the funerary monument of Alessandro VII.

The photographer and scholar suggests a connection between the sculpture and the Salvator Mundi and the Sindone. Her work arrives during the 400th anniversary of the dedication of Saint Peter's Basilica and the birth of Queen Christina of Sweden.
