Bishop Duffy pays tribute to Fr Jim Moore

Bishop Duffy expressed his condolences following the death of Fr Jim Moore, the parish priest of Clones and Killeevan-Currin-Aghabog.

Fr Jim died at a hospital in Belfast on the morning of September 1, 2026, after a long illness. He was 59 years old. The Diocese of Clogher noted that he bore his illness with great dignity. A native of Monaghan town, Fr Jim served his pastoral communities in the diocese until his death.
