Bishop Francesco to meet elderly priests

Bishop Francesco Chiesa will meet with elderly priests on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Bergamo Seminary. The gathering is for priests born between 1929 and 1951 to share experiences regarding the final stage of their priestly life and to speak with the bishop as he nears the end of his mandate.

The morning schedule begins at 9:30 a.m. with a reflection and discussion led by Bishop Francesco in the former gymnasium projection room. Following a break, the bishop will celebrate Mass at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of All Saints. Participating priests are asked to bring a surplice and a white stole.
