Bishop François Touvet publishes pastoral letter

Bishop François Touvet published a pastoral letter to the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon to review the progress of the local Church since his appointment in November 2023.

In the letter, titled "The Sower, the Path, and the Good Soil," Touvet expressed spiritual joy regarding the engagement of priests, deacons, seminarians, and families. He specifically noted the vitality of youth ministry, the influence of Catholic schools, the growth of diaconia, and the activity within various movements and pastoral communities.

The bishop noted that he has visited nearly every parish in the diocese during his Sunday visits. He wrote the letter to help the faithful maintain their direction and to express gratitude for the participation of laity, clergy, and consecrated persons in the mission of the diocese.
