Bishop Galea-Curmi delivers homily

Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi said the Church is open to everyone and should not separate people based on social class or status. During a homily, the bishop noted that Jesus brought together people of different backgrounds, ages, and occupations to show that his mission includes everyone willing to follow him.

Galea-Curmi highlighted the presence of women among the disciples to show they were not excluded from the life of Jesus or the Church. He noted that while it was uncommon for women to be so publicly active in ministry during that time, their inclusion serves as a model for the mission of the Church today. He described the Church as a family of God where people hold different roles and functions without any person being excluded.
