Bishop Giuse Đỗ Quang Khang Confers Sacrament of Confirmation on 16 Children

Bishop Giuse Đỗ Quang Khang of the Diocese of Bac Ninh administered the sacrament of confirmation to 16 children at Dau Parish on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The group included 15 children from Dau Parish and one child from Nong Vu Parish.

During the liturgy, the children renewed the faith they received at baptism before receiving the seal of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands and anointing with holy oil. Parish priest Giuse Nguyễn Đức Trưởng introduced the candidates to the congregation.

Bishop Khang also blessed the Saint Alberto House during the morning celebrations. In his homily, the bishop encouraged the confirmed children to be mindful of their faith in daily life and to avoid envy. He also asked parents and godparents to act as witnesses to the faith to help guide the children as they grow.
