Bishop Giuse Đỗ Quang Khang confirms 42 children at Hòa An parish

Bishop Giuse Đỗ Quang Khang administered the sacrament of confirmation to 42 children at Hòa An parish on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The Bishop of the Diocese of Bac Ninh led the ceremony during a Mass attended by parents, catechists, and the local community.

During his sermon, Bishop Giuse told the children that receiving confirmation is a step toward maturity in faith rather than the end of their religious education. He said the grace of the Holy Spirit strengthens them to be responsible Christians who live out their faith through love, forgiveness, and sincerity. He encouraged the children to listen to the Word of God and act as witnesses to the Gospel in their daily lives.
