Bishop Guglielmo presides over Mass for the Time of Creation 2026

Bishop Guglielmo presided over Mass for the Time of Creation 2026 at the Maria Santissima di Lourdes church in Gliaca di Piraino. The celebration was organized by the diocesan office for social and labor pastoral care.

The Mass was inspired by a message from Pope Leo XIV for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. The liturgy focused on the responsibility to protect the environment, care for relationships, and build peace.

Local officials attended the service, including Piraino Vice Mayor Pina Saggio, City Council President Maria Teresa Maddalena, and Antonino Florulli. Other attendees included representatives from the Piraino International Rangers, school director Mariella La Rosa from the IC Anna Rita Sidoti in Gioiosa Marea, and various students from local schools.
