Satué stated that his first year involved significant work to learn the diocese while managing additional responsibilities assigned by the Holy See. For the upcoming year, he plans to relaunch the drafting of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan, which will establish the primary lines of work for the coming years. He intends to develop this plan through collaboration rather than working alone.

To prepare for these decisions, the bishop said he will continue visiting parishes and speaking with the people and priests of the diocese to better understand the large territory.
