Bishop Joseph M. Siegel to celebrate White Mass

Bishop Joseph M. Siegel will celebrate the annual White Mass for the Evansville Diocese on Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

The White Mass gathers healthcare professionals to ask for God's blessing on patients, doctors, nurses, and caregivers under the patronage of St. Luke. The name refers to the color worn by those in the healing profession. This tradition is typically celebrated near the feast of St. Luke on Oct. 18.
