Bishop Alan Williams SM opposes assisted suicide

Bishop Alan Williams SM of the Diocese of Brentwood wrote to parishes to express his opposition to the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. In his message, the bishop encouraged parishioners to voice their own opposition to the proposal to legalize assisted suicide.

The bishop noted that the House of Lords rejected the proposal during the previous parliamentary session.
