Bishop Varden: There is a Catholic springtime in Norway (Aleteia)

Bishop Erik Varden said the Catholic faith is experiencing a springtime in Norway.

In an interview, the Trappist bishop of Trondheim noted that Catholicism is no longer a marginal part of society. He observed that while the faith only modestly returned to the country in the 19th century, many people are now searching for truth, communion, and sincere life with diligence.

Bishop Varden added that this period of growth brings many responsibilities as the Church sees grace at work.
