Bishops ask Supreme Court for Catholic inclusion in Colorado universal preschool program

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to allow Catholic schools in Colorado to participate in the state’s universal preschool program.

The bishops argue that these schools should be able to access the program without compromising their religious faith. The petition seeks to ensure Catholic schools can include their students in the state-funded preschool initiative.
