Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka raises concerns over 22nd Amendment

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka expressed concern over the 22nd Amendment, which the Cabinet proposed and published in the Gazette on August 7.

The conference stated that the independence of the judiciary, the rule of law, and the principle of the separation of powers must be protected.
