Bishops meet elderly priests and deacons in Caravaggio

Bishops and clergy gathered at the Santa Maria del Fonte sanctuary in Caravaggio on Thursday, September 17, for the twelfth regional meeting of elderly and sick priests and permanent deacons from Lombardy. The event served as a time for prayer, fraternity, and gratitude for those who have dedicated years to pastoral ministry and preaching the Gospel.

The meeting was organized with support from the Lombardy section of Unitalsi. Bishop Corrado Sanguineti of Pavia attended the gathering at the sanctuary, which has served as the regional sanctuary for Lombardy since 2023.
