Bishop Dom Geovane meets with priests in foranias

Bishop Geovane Luis da Silva is meeting with priests from the foranias of the Diocese of Divinópolis throughout September. During a meeting in Carmo do Cajuru on September 17, he met with priests from the Forania de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, which includes the parishes of Nossa Senhora do Carmo and Nossa Senhora do Líbano in Carmo do Cajuru, São Vicente de Paulo, Nossa Senhora das Dores and Santuário do Senhor Bom Jesus in Divinópolis, and São Gonçalo in São Gonçalo do Pará.

The discussions focused on priestly pastoral care, coexistence among priests, and the creation of a house for priests. Earlier this month, the bishop met with priests from the Forania de Santo Antônio and the Forania do Divino Espírito Santo. He is scheduled to visit the other foranias until the end of the month.
