Blessed Sheen’s 1972 visit to Diocese continues to inspire
Local Catholics are recalling personal encounters with Archbishop Fulton Sheen following his declaration as blessed. The Illinois native, known for his media work and religious teaching, was one step closer to sainthood after the Church declared him blessed on Sept. 25.
