Bp Artur Ważny leads diocesan pilgrimage to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska

Bishop Artur Ważny led a diocesan pilgrimage for people from the Diocese of Sosnowiec to the passion and Mary sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska on Saturday, September 12. During the central Eucharist, the bishop shared a message using five simple images to help pilgrims reflect on their lives, comparing them to the five fingers of Mary's hand.

In his homily, Bishop Ważny used the images of roots, the heart, the word, hands, and the home to describe spiritual growth. He told pilgrims they do not need to be perfect for God to work through them, provided they are built upon a rock. Regarding the image of roots, the bishop explained that the most important aspects of faith happen in secret through silence, prayer, and a true relationship with God, rather than through outward religious displays.
