Bp Krzysztof Włodarczyk leads 130th anniversary Mass for Parafialny Chór "Cecylia"

Bishop Krzysztof Włodarczyk presided over a Mass to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Parafialny Chór "Cecylia" in Mrocza. The choir serves the community of świętego Mikołaja Biskupa.

The choir's history began in 1896 through the initiative of the then parish priest, Father Kazimierz. During the jubilee Mass, Bishop Włodarczyk, the ordinary of the Diocese of Bydgoszcz, said that church singing serves as a way to build community and profess faith in addition to being a part of the liturgy.
