Diocese of Buea priests continue annual retreat

Priests of the Diocese of Buea entered the second day of their annual retreat on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Bishop Pius Awah Memorial Pastoral Centre in Molyko-Buea.

The retreat master, Rev. Fr. Michael Suh Neba, led a session titled "What Does Staying with God Mean?" during which he discussed the importance of priests developing a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Fr. Suh Neba told the participants that they cannot effectively witness to Christ without first knowing Him through time spent with Him and by allowing His teachings to shape their lives.

Fr. Suh Neba also addressed the missionary aspect of discipleship. He encouraged the priests to view their ministry as a response to a personal relationship with Christ rather than just a professional responsibility or function.
