Cabo Verde - Bino Branco – A voz do “Fundo Baxo”

Cape Verdean singer and songwriter Bino Branco died on August 30, 2026, in the United States while receiving medical treatment, according to Vatican News.

Branco co-founded the musical group Ferro Gaita, which helped spread funaná, a musical genre from Santiago island. Filinto Elísio noted that Branco's work is closely linked to the evolution and success of the group.
